As president for the year 2008/9 It is my pleasure to welcome you the the Jedburgh Rotary club website.

Our club is a robust and active organization located in the the Scottish Border town of Jedburgh.

 

Beside running many regular fund raising activities throughout the year in order to support local and international charities. We recently completed a major fundraising raising activity for the victims of Tsunami. Following an on site visit to one of the areas affected by two of our members we were able to raise a significant amount of money that went directly to those in need, supporting water purification boat repair and building activities that allowed refugees to leave the camps return to their island and start up their businesses again in order to be self sufficient once more. For a club from a little Scottish border town to achieve so much was fantastic!

We currently meet every Thursday evening at the Carters Rest Bar and restaurant Starting at 6 p.m. and all visitors are most welcome.
